At the meeting, Rishi Sunak urged universities to remain "bastions of tolerance". Protest camps have been springing up at universities around the UK, fuelling fears of a repeat of recent scenes on US campuses.

A bit daft for Sunak to ask ANYONE to show leadership...

Headline: "Rising antisemmtism on campus"
Actual content of report: Young Jews discuss their reasons for supporting human rights and how they're harrassed for their antiZinnist beliefs.

Chilling to think what has happened to the universities in Gaza.

I think the fact that they feel safe in the encampment, but think should wear a mask to remain safe from the people outside the camp tells you all you need to know about where the real antisemitism is!

They are not looting they are not burning down buildings they are just sitting down quietly. I really do not see what the big deal is?

Its very frustrating how misinformed and overconfident most of these protestors are

I believe many of the students act in good faith. The problem I have with this movement is the total lack of criticism of Hamas and ignoring the fate of the hostages. This way the students allow themselves to be instrumentalised by Hamas propagandists. Criticise Israel, but also criticise Hamas as a reckless terror organisation! Mourn for Palestinian casualties, but also mourn for Israeli ones! If you do you can claim the high moral ground, right now you cannot

Sunak is the one trying to cause division, same old story question Israil in any shape or form and get called anti-semite, and Jewish friends get called self-haters.

they are students off all faith jews muslims christians atheist standing together against a genocide ...Jewish students are not complaining of feeling unsafe because of a tent but how caring of sunak to show concern, where is his concern for the thousands of children also in tents that are being blown apart and have to hear the terrifying noise of fighter jets and drones....double standards and hypocrisy the sooner the door hits him on the way out the better
