tip to find a drygmy :


Use Delightful dirt to force spawn passive mobs, that will make it so all 3 of the Ars creatures appear + other animals.

You can make it by crafting GM chicken feed that has the Golden egg in its description. Feed that to a chicken and throw the dropped egg on an area of dirt.

Protip: make a roofed shelter surrounded by ethereal glass so you can freely come and go and keep the animals isolated inside.

for those who are new and get confused the Drygmy shards are now Drygmy tokens and look more like bone scrap then copper crystals

If anyone is interested in another source farm, my go to that you can do early in the modpack is a lava + volcanic sourcelink farm. Don't be daunted by me saying it uses some of the Create mod, I promise it's really easy. I believe in you!

You'll need:
- a method of transporting lava (Ender Tanks work perfect here)
- a way to transport a bucket and filter on whether it's filled or not (Pipez mod works well here but there are many options)
- from Create: a depot, a spigot, and a hose pulley for lava
- from Ars: a pedestal, volcanic sourcelinks, and source jars

Steps:
- set up a hose pulley in the nether to fill the ender tank with lava
- set up a matching ender tank with a spigot and depot wherever you want your source.
- the spigot + depot can be used to automate filling an empty bucket with lava
- an item pipe filtered to only pull lava buckets from the depot and pass it to your pedestal surrounded by volcanic sourcelinks
- a second item pipe filtered to only pull empty buckets from the pedestal and pass them back to the depot

You now have INFINITE SOURCE

Found this really well done. I just wanted to share a couple small corrections:
First, the containment ritual only consumes source after the first time it captures something into a jar. Which will be about 5% of a jars content.
Second, the jars will capture any ENTITY in the radius, which includes the invisible vengeful spirits from Evil Craft, so dont kill things near your containment setup(this was something that caused a LOT of confusion for me). It will also capture any dropped items. Keep a touch dispel handy in your spellbook!

Very nice! I searched for a similar build some time ago but couldnt find any in depth tutorial, which is why I never bothered building a Drygmy farm. Thank you!

Just wonderful Tutorial, not just for Drygmy but for Ars in general! Short, clear, very informative!
I've captured all you had in the list to boost the happiness, and only placed with a Piglich and a Wither, placed 6 Drygmy's so far, but havent had a single drop in 15-20 minutes unfortunately :) Will see when they will farm something, maybe they do not recognize Sophisticated Storage - Netherite Chest?
Also do I have to mark the chest with Dominion Wand in order to show them where to place items? It is literally next to them.

A bit late to the party but a good infinite source farm would be to place an aggrononic sourcelink near a high output Mystical Agriculture farm, such as AlfredGGs design. Source problems solved forever.

if you already have mob grinding utils+apotheosis mobfarm you can place vitalic sourcelink that generates source from nearby mob death. It will work just fine

To find large numbers of drygmys: you can trade emeralds for drygmy tokens using a Shady Wizard.

Just place an Arcane Core next to an unemployed villager and it will become a Shady Wizard.
There's a 50% chance (I think) that it will have drygmy tokens as an Expert level trade.

**Drygmy's and You!**

**Notes**
-(**C**) is being used to denote a configurable value. The numbers provided are the default values.
-"Henge" is referring to the Drygmy's Henge, and the area it encompasses (10 blocks in any direction for jars, 10 blocks in any horizontal direction, 6 above/below for actual entities)
-While "Entity" is generally a broader term than is being used here, I am using it to refer to any Living Entity not on the Drygmy blacklist that also isn't a Drygmy or a Player.

**Drop Count**
-Your first entitiy added to a henge provides 1(**C**) additional drop
-Your first 5(**C**) entities added to a henge provide 1 additional drop
-Every unique entity added to a henge adds 2(**C**) additional drops
-A single entity can contribute to multiple of these bonuses

Your first entity in a single entity henge will provide 4 drops (1 base + 1 for every entity < 5 + 2 for a unique entity)

**Loot Table**
-Potentially generated items are pooled into one massive list based on the entities in your henge
-Entities with no loot table do not negatively impact the henge's loot table
-Entities with <100% chance to drop items from their loot table can generate "no loot" pulls into the Loot Table, determined each time the Drygmy's finish a cycle.
-Specially spawned drops (like Nether Stars) are not added to the loot table
-Putting multiple of one entity can help bias loot generation towards that drop table if you have a large amount of item yielding entities in your henge

**Item Generation**
-A random item is generated from the full loot table per "additional drop" added in the **Drop Count** section.

Yeah, this kind of passive farm feels better. I imagine Treasure Goblin farm being more effective, if you add more blades, but this works passively from the get-go.

I think I nstead of cactus making a source berry farm using a carbuncle (ars nouveau mob so works the same way as drygmy and are used for item transportation and carbuncles can harvest source berry automatically) would work better because source berries overall generate more source through agronomic generator too so it's basically having 2 farms(source and source berry) in one farm

One thing, I'm pretty sure the ritual of containment only draws source when capturing a mob, and also, you get 1 free capture at the beginning when you first activated the ritual. Only subsequent attempts use source

You can also get drygmy tokens much easier from trading with an Ars Nouveau villager. They have a chance to roll all kinds of token including the Drygmy one, and if you use villager conversion (normally or with Easy Villagers) you can get them for as low as 1 Emerald.

For those who didn't know how to get the Pipes working, you must have the Pipe Wrench, Sneak+Right + Click in to the pipe will change its shape and provide a Pipe entry shape, make sure the Pipe connected to the Controller only tho

Treasure goblins do work?! I tried an apotheosis boss, and it defaulted to the mob's original drops--assumed the same would happen for a treasure goblin. Really appreciate this Epic!
