Tip for Forge players: Since Red Shulker Boxes cannot be placed on framed trapdoors or copycat pannels, use nether wart blocks in replacement.

For people using Copycat panels- You can't use a chute on them, but you can use industrial iron blocks, which look identical!
Also, Red Terracotta looks similar enough to the red shulker box texture, I've found.

A small tip though: Create 5.1 contains a "Copycat Block" which does exactly the same as the framed panel.

Tip: the framed panels get the texture removed if you load into the world again, but that can be fixed by texturing one frame per batch of frame, and the other frames will "notice" they need to be textured.

Looks very good! Although i prefer the thumbnail version of the locomotive, this still looks very realistic

So, I haven't seen anyone use this technique and I might have discovered and incredible ability: world edit plus the create mod. I downloaded multiple schematics for really good train builds (mainly from DreamWanderer if I'm giving credit here, epic builds from that guy), loaded them into a superflat with worledit, placed the train casing under it, added a few things like lanterns and seats. Glued the whole thing together and boom!: I have 2 full steam engines. A PRR 520, and a Flying Scotsman. I'm really surprised everyone keeps trying to make stuff native to create mod to build their trains. Just build a regular train and place the casing under it. I really wish I could show a video of it cause it is honestly super super cool

Lovely looking train, personally I’m not big on the 0-2-4 wheelbase on such a long frame though, making longer wheelbase locos is possible, it just requires you to glue the thing in the right sort of way, aside from that, keep it up!

i prefer polished deepslate instead of chiseled. INCREDIBLE build tho, i love it so much. it looks even better in steampunk mod because the textures are better.
