i'll always be a kinks fan first and foremost but i can't get over how awesome the Who and Stones are.

I have, for decades now, found myself returning again and again to the Kink’s music, much more than the other three bands, but at the same time acknowledging that the Beatles are truly in a league of their own. It is the Kink’s quirkiness that sets them apart.

That was really cool. Love that you included the Kinks.

I like all 4 Bands....but The Who has something special. Towendsends compositions on the guitar are very modern in fact of a proggy style. Like Rock Operas like Tommy and Quadrophenia ( this Lp is in my personaly top Ten, were led it bleed and st pepper although.😆) good funny Video

The Who win for me. My favourite band of all time, so maybe I'm biased, but they're just amazing. Even their less popular stuff is great. Trick of the Light from Who Are You for example.

Also, I was kinda expecting I Can See For Miles after Helter Skelter was used for The Beatles as HS was The Beatles trying to 'out-Who The Who', with Miles the inspiration.

To be honest, I'm not a big fan of The Beatles. I haven't listened to much of The Kinks outside of the hits and the Village Green Preservation Society album. I love The Stones.

4 of the most iconic bands in music history. There's no real winners or losers here.

I'm more a Rolling Stones fan(R.I.P. Brain Jones and Charlie Watts thank you for the great music), much respect for the other groups(Bands), I got hooked on the Stones back then, and I'm still hooked on the Stones to this day, music sure has come along way. Man, this is a tough one. So many great songs from all 4 bands. But, I have to give the win to The Rolling Stones. Well done sir. Keep them coming. And congratulations on 200k.

Its Keef by a nose ... 'Satisfaction', damn, since day one back in the summer of '65 it flattened my ass and to this day, every time I hear those opening notes its like the first time I heard it. Start Me Up has just as bad ass a riff as Satisfaction but its just not as as Satisfactions laid back feel (as the band just takes off). But then theres Daves riff of riifs, with his home made fuzz that also kicks ass like Satisfaction, so ? 'Baba has its place, Petes moog work gave me one of the best music trips into bliss I think I've ever experienced one warm summer afternoon as I was actually sitting on a slight hill overlooking a huge filed of tall grass. The grass swayed with the steady warm summers day breeze under a crystal blue sky and summer sun. That swaying grass seemed to be a Woodstock sized, tightly packed crowd just swaying in unison to Petes magical sounds. For me though its all about a memory now when I hear it. Great ones, no doubt but Satisfactions riff always sounds new to me, always in the moment. The weed back then enhanced the music, not obliterated ones senses. For me, that summer day, wow, no other music experience has topped it before or since.
The Beatles were in a different category. Yes, they had some decent riffs but I don't think riffs were their forte. Their songs on the whole were, again, to me, their greatest strength. Definitely some unforgettable riffs but they just didn't have that visceral punch that the others did and I think thats what they intended it to be. They did have a couple of great R&R tues no doubt, but Norwegian Wood', 'Here Comes The Sun', 'Dear Prudence', 'Peenny Lane' 'A DAY In THE LIFE' for fux sake, AMAZING ... but not riff driven.
BTW, just wondering: Why no Zep ? I know, you could go all day with this but zep has the most played rock song ever, no ? 'Whole Lotta Love', 'Communication Break Down', 'Rock and Roll' etc etc ?
In fact, I would replace The Beatles with Zep here. Just a thought.
Great, fun video !!

I’m so glad we have them all. No single one of them could make up for losing the sounds of any other. Isn’t rock glorious???

I don't know if I'm more jealous of the playing or the synchronization.
Both very cool!

The Beatles will always be a personal favorite of mine. But I love the Who too. Should of added Led Zeppelin to this as well! Would of been awesome. Great job!

Well done.
The Yardbirds and the Animals could have fit right in there as well.
