Today I sandblast a narrow boat / house boat. Do I make a school boy error and forget to fill the van with enough media to finish?

Gotta love that epoxy paint. I used to blast oilfield equipment here and had only one coated with that stuff. Had to run 2 compressors (300 CFM each) at the same time and run a larger nozzle. We just used screened #7 sand. Felt like I had a fire hose in my hands for a full day. Hated that thing.

Would honestly rather be blasting again. Miss it. Was 30 years ago that I was doing it.

Good advert for epoxy; applied well. I suspect previously blasted new build of 2018 vintage . Any other paint is false delusional economy. Presumably bottom judged okay for extension or did you spot shot any areas?

I remember the one that you had to keep going back to, as the owner kept on doing nothing to it after your job, and left it to rust again!!
At least this one was a lot easier for you, and great job as well👍
On side note, do you know what happens to the bottom, especially the parts that are resting on the wood, by any chance??

R'reet Mick, Every time you show that price on diesel pump amount it makes me take a sharp intake of breath & curse words 😩 & I'm not even paying for it lol, It must be brutal for you.

Nice job on sandblasting the narrowboat, I watch a few YT vids on narrowboating & I'm sure I heard one of them say it's a condition by the insurance companies to have this blacking done every 3-4 years in order to get insurance on them. Thanks for the video.
