Hear more about the program from Sharon Teo-Gooding, associate director and professor at The Sidney Poitier New American Film School, who has edited, produced and directed several award-winning independent feature films and documentaries and short films. “This program provides students with an understanding of all the roles available on the film set,” Teo-Gooding said. “In addition, students will learn how to come up with an essential and effective story, how to build characters that are believable, and then dive into how to use the tools that are available to you to create those stories. Our goal is to develop your creativity and your strengths as a filmmaker.”
