About Who's The Boss?:
Being a parent is tough; being a single parent is even tougher. So when injuries and his wife's death force ex-baseball player Tony Micelli (Tony Danza) into retirement, and a single mom, high powered advertising executive Angela Bower (Judith Light), needed someone to run her household, it was a match made in heaven. Or was it? After convincing her free-spirited, mischievous mother, Mona Robinson (Katherine Helmond), that hiring Tony is the right thing to do, the less-than-tidy Angela welcomes him and his daughter Samantha (Alyssa Milano) as the live-in housekeeper for her and her son Jonathan (Danny Pintauro). And while their relationship starts out businesslike and platonic, becoming best friends and confidants makes it hard for two attractive, single adults living under one roof to resist their more grown-up impulses.

This scene always made me cry. I love how they tied it into the pilot episode at the end. 😢❤

I was so blessed to have grown up as a teen in the 80's and able to watch great shows like this.

Judith Light and Tony Danza had such good camaraderie and chemistry on screen ☺

They made a perfect couple! One of the best sitcoms during that time.

I used to love this show. Never saw the finale though, so that was nice. I almost cried...lol.
When television was less complicated and just fun to watch.

Aww man... 44yrs old watching this show again today for the first time in many years. Had to see the final scene. It's a very beautiful ending. Lots of nostalgia vibes.

I love when Tony said “Angela the only thing I resented was being without you.”

I never saw the finale so this grabbed my attention. A perfect way to end the series, and keeping them consistently in character every second. Good job, actors, writers and director.

short of them getting married and having a third child, this was absolutely the best way to end the show, and my favorite scene between the two of them. tony inspired angela to start her own business and become the best version of herself, and she pushed him to go to college, be successful, and stand on his own two feet. they literally made each other's dreams come true. it's a bookend, but now they're not at that doorway as housekeeper and boss, but as two complete, fully realized characters. this scene killed me when first saw it in reruns as a kid, and to this day, it still makes me melt. 💕

I love when Angela said back to Tony “So what are your qualifications? and Tony said well um and kissed her passionately.

Man, haven't seen or thought about this show in many years. Just saw the clip and it brought a tear to my eye. Like visiting friends and family you have'nt seen in a long time, and such a happy ending. Something we need today.

A great show and a beautiful love story. I'm so glad the writers didn't let these two actually get together during the show, but ended it like this.

Cheesy as 80s TV was back then, I thought the whole story arc of those two throughout the whole of the series was so well done and there was definitely a realness to their friendship/relationship that was sort of absent from a lot of shows at the time. The actors had a lot to do with that. Still love watching reruns today.

Better acting in a sitcom than in most of what passes for drama on TV today.

Angela and Tony looked their best and hottest in the final season.

Although I loved the ending, I was disappointed that we didn't see a wedding. That would have been nice.

It seems like Tony Danza was the Matt LeBlanc of the 70s, 80s and early 90s
