most of Whirlpool product has control panel factory defect which i experienced for washer and also Oven and they should do recall and pay for their stupid design and i always recommend people don't buy whirlpool any more.
this Oven lock issue fix by replacing panel only unfortunately . minimum $700 for a display

I do that and it returns me to the original screen. Turned power off, held buttons for 45 seconds etc and no luck. I hate giving them more money to fix this problem right after warranty. Apart from not buying something from a Chinese owned company again can anyone make any suggestions?

any update on swiping up not working? it keeps asking me to update the time and when i hit "skip" or "update" it takes me back to the lock screen

Shitty product. Stupid solution suggestion. Everyone with an IQ higher than 10 can think of trying swiping up. The problem is that, after a power outage, nothing works. Swiping up, resetting by turning the circuit breaker off for minutes...Nothing works. You have to change the screen panel. Such a low-quality, such a flimsy product. Will never buy Whirlpool again.
