Trying out the hiking cart in the woods to see if I need to change anything.

I like the idea but I can't help but think it'd be a pain wrestling with it to keep balance. Would two tires mitigate that some? Great invention though.

Might be useful to try and get the center of gravity a bit lower, so as to require less energy to balance. Can't be too low otherwise the bottom of the panniers would become too close to objects on the ground. Great idea!

An indexing thumb shifter would work as a parking brake, or a GripShift . Just need to splice it in to the one cable or add a second. Or the simplest is a velcro strap. That's what I have on my tadpole trike.
I need a trail cart for moving tools, chainsaws, gas, etc. Still debating the +/- of one or two wheels.

They do sell locking brake levers.... pull lever and then press down on a button. The plunger keeps the brake lever in a locked position like a car's parking brake.

How about a strap to go from the handles up over your shoulders behind your neck to help carry the weight instead of all on your hands and arms?

That 'thing' is useless if you get a puncture so why not fit a TANNUS tier.😊
