I absolutely love this song. The funny thing is that when it first came out back in the mid-80’s I didn’t really care for all that much. I was young, and couldn’t appreciate the nostalgia in the lyrics. As the songs grown older so have I, and now when I hear it just takes me back.

Life was so much better in the 70s-80s. I think about those years more now than ever. Brings tears to my eyes on what is happening in current affairs in the USA. This music is kind of an escape to the past

God, do I wanna go back. The best years of my life. I'm so fortunate to have grown up during the 80's. Kids will never understand that as cool as it looks (since they usually only see pop culture references), it was even more awesome in reality.
