The numbers do not favor the 2023 Lexus RZ 450e, the brand's first dedicated electric vehicle. The Japanese luxury brand's latest arrives on the scene with less power and less range than its established competition. Yet Lexus has never been about the plain numbers—so can the RZ impress on its own merits?

You should have a warning before the video because of the flickering center console screen filmed while driving. The car is another big lump of metal and batteries trawling along the roads, enlarging potholes and damaging the environment, albeit indirectly via electricity production and not directly as many others.
