What a pure rendition... technically perfect: not a single fret buzz, not one arpeggio missed, perfect vocal pitch and words... and artistically: I'm just incredibly moved by this performance. Only one guy and his bouzouki but the whole Ireland is in there...

Listened to this obsessively prior to my initial voyage to Ireland from Missouri, USA. Upon landing I spotted a hare and assumed it good luck. What a lucky token it was. The pints were sweet, the whiskey smooth and the company full of craic.

I’ve listened to this 1000+ times and it gets better every time. YouTube needs to develop a way for us to praise Daiori some more. Brilliant brilliant brilliant mate

As a hunter myself I found myself rooting for the white hare throughout the song. Tremendous job on this one it's a shame only 4.4 million people experienced excellence

I came across this song when I lived in Berlin last Summer 2023.. As a young Irish woman living abroad, It was a gift! The following year I met Daoiri in the Traditional music course I took In Ireland. I told him this that I played his rendition all Summer in Berlin, and Asked if he would please perform "Creggan white hair" for us... A huge gift was received that day to witness this man perform this beautiful song., Go raibh míle an Fear Naofa. Daoiri! What an absolute lovely man.

This is incredible. A superb performance right up their with Paul Brady's version of Arthur McBride.

Born in the mountains of North Carolina (USA) our family would rabbit hunt in the winter. There was no greater pleasure than to see our lone Beagle give chase to the rabbit. When I hear "Creggan White Hare" at age 70 it reminds me of my childhood years and the great times of my childhood years. What a beautiful piece of folk music. I never get enough of listening to the "Creggan White Hare". Thank you Daoiri Farrell.

idk what it is with Irish music, in particular this song... it gives so many emotions, like on one hand it makes me sad and homesick even though I'm not Irish myself, and on the other hand it gives hope, warmth and a feeling of being grateful for what I have

There are few folk who wander this rock who can make their talents and trades look effortless. This young man is one of those.

I just played this for my old boy and he was just in awe hes been singing folk for decades no professional more so just down the local to bring about a good atmosphere through some storytelling songs such as this one.

My father is from Creggan and he was a musician. It would have been his 60th birthday last weekend and I'd never heard this version until then... haven't stopped playing it since ❤️👌

That's the best voice I've heard so far in folk music. Thank God for youtube without which I'd never come across this great singer.
