Phantom 3 SE Vs Spark

Other factors to consider. The Phantom is much more intimidating than the Spark. I was going to mention price of batteries but the price of Phantom batteries has apparently gone down considerably. Then there's noise. The spark makes less of it the Phantom can be heard a long way away. Due to its weight and power the Phantom does better in windy situations.. Carrying the Phantoms case can be a chore while the Spark has a much smaller and lighter case. For Distance the Phantom hands own, mind you there's always variables like other WiFi signals and 2.4ghz that throws the telemetry off which would be one of my GUESSES on why they have runaways. Spark also has a slight advantage that the camera is not too obvious it blends into the body. The Phantom however with the thee axis gimbal and camera is obvious and tends to make people a bit more nervous especially at its size. Would you rather be hit by the blades of the Spark or Phantom? After all accidents DO happen. It is making me rethink about the Spark and I appreciate being educated and this video does this.

Thank you a lot! I was thinking about buying a little Spark to starting on this of aerial shooting, but, even the size and portability lack of the P3SE, his camera, flying and gymbal specs are definitely better for my work.

I would buy each one if I could, because the Sparky looks really versatile and able to make great clips in determined situations.

Just make sure you order your Phantom 3 SE at a retailer who offers refunds. Mine had video downlink trouble that never went away, even after sending it in three times and fiddling with it myself and having the drone's Wi-Fi board replaced and whatnot.

My spark has gone to 3 km so its range is more than 2 km. I used a OTG cable too achieve this. And it was with high head on wind. So I believe I could have flown further with better weather.

I am split between the two of these. I really like he portability of the spark, and the simplicity, but it seems as though the phantom beets it in every category. I’m not a total beginner, but definitely not a pro! What would you recommend?

Good video but isn’t the Sydney Harbor a restrictive fly zone? The SE is a great drone especially for what you pay for it. I’ve had it sine Oct. 17 and it’s been perfect and since DJI made the extended DJI Care for an extra year a tremendous value. I’d like a P4Pro but this is just fine for now, goes very well with my P3S which I still use a lot.

Sorry you are incorrect. The Dji Phantom 3 SE was released in August 2017 though I got mine before the official release in June 2017 and the Spark was released around April 2017 so the Spark is a little older by weeks. I wouldn't swap my SE for 2 Sparks. It's better than the Phantom 4K and so much cheaper.
