P3 for image quality. Spark for fun. I have both a P4pro and spark! I find using the spark is easier to get in and out and perfect for youtube

I bought a Phantom 3 Standard because I recently got my Part 107 for work and we would be buying the Phantom 4 Pro for work. Being new to drones I saw owning the P3S as a way to practice and learn on my free time some of the common features of these style of sUAS. I love my P3S and for the price I paid for it I am glad I invested in it. But, as you you pointed out, it is Big and not easy to tote around. One advantage I have found is that I can go out nearly a mile and still have it in sight. I only fly LOS and I could imagine how difficult it would be to send the Spark out to any decent distance and still be able to find it in the sky. For close in work it seems a great choice.

Hi Kai, well done. I started with a Phantom 1 and was not really happy with it. I sold it earlier this year. Then I found the Spark and fell in love with droning all over again. It is really outstanding and fun. I'm taking my 107 test on the 12th and look forward to doing more. I could not resist the new Mavic Platinum and it is coming around the end of the month. Keep up the good work.

Great review! I'm trying to decide between the Spark and Phantom 3 4k... I have made many indie films that have made it into several film festivals and have won awards. We shoot them on my Canon 5D Mark 2 at 1080p 24 fps. I'm thinking I might be able to get away with using the spark at times for some specialty shots. What do you think?

Great video ....I am looking into getting the p3s because of were I live it's always windy how does the spark fly in windy conditions
