There's a Poor Man's Icecream that is almost identical to this. Take a can of evaporated milk that you chilled in the fridge overnight. Add 1.5 cups of powdered sugar and some vanilla extract (don't overdo it). Mix with a hand mixer to whip it much like whipped cream. Once it becomes creamy, put it in the freezer for 1 hour. Remove from freezer and mix with hand mixer again until it thickens and becomes creamy. Eat now or put it back in the fridge to set firm and eat later.
