Breast Cancer Survivorship
Показать описание
At Weill Cornell Medicine, we don’t just treat breast cancer; we understand the emotional and physical impact of a breast cancer diagnosis. We believe in treating the whole person and take great pride in our Survivorship Program.
The Weill Cornell Breast Center's Annual Survivorship Symposium brings together more than 300 breast cancer survivors from the Tri-State Area for a day of connection and conversation about topics related to life beyond a breast cancer diagnosis, including issues such as returning to work, weight and nutrition, cardiovascular health, and fear of recurrence, as well as the latest advances in breast cancer research and treatment.
“Our patients are very special and it's very gratifying for us to see them come back year after year to our annual survivorship symposium,” says Dr. Anne Moore, Medical Director of the Weill Cornell Breast Center.
