My wife is 34, she was diagnosed just 3 days ago. We’re devastated but we’ll get through this. It all started when she was pregnant & about to gave birth to our first born son. When she gave birth and trying to breast feed our baby, she felt a lump on her left breast. The nurse said those are probably blocked milk ducts. Since my wife doesn’t have enough milk to breast feed, we just started to feed formula to our baby. 2 months later the lump is still there & we ask the doctor for a mammogram. Then ultrasound & then biopsy. To be honest when we found out about this, it was like a shot to the heart. First thing I thought was our 3 month old baby. Tomorrow we’ll gonna have the appointment for surgery preparation & the following treatment. I just want to share our story so I can vent out all this pain inside my chest.

I was in my later 30's when I got it and I had to go through 8 rounds of chemo 33 radiation all while taking care of two babies in diapers..Very very dark times in my life..Everyone wanted to bring over food but no one wanted to help me with my babies and it was the most difficult task of all, vomiting and being in extreme joint pain while trying to care for two little ones..Almost gave up taking chemo..Pray I never walk that path ever again.

mammograms should be available to women as of 18 years old and be a yearly thing for check ups. theres no reason why so many women should be told theyre too young to have one possilbly walking around with breast cancer unaware all because doctors and others feel theyre too young for one, cancer doesnt care how old you are every woman should have access to medical testing to prevent things or detect things like this before its become aggressive and too late

1:15 grrrr that makes me SO angry her doctor said blood coming from her breast was nothing!!!
We all need to advocate for ourselves like she did! We shouldn’t have to, but we must!!!

I felt a lump in my left breast. I DIDN’T feel the other 2 tumors.
I was 4 months overdue for a yearly mammogram. I wish I’d gotten it, could have possibly avoided needing chemo.
I was diagnosed the day after my 47th bday. Pre menopausal.
Get those yearly mammograms ladies 💕

My best friend was just diagnosed  with DCIS breast cancer at the age of 25 two weeks ago.  Doctors recommending a double mastectomy with reconstruction. She has family history of breast cancer.

Its important that there are 15 types of breast cancer. Hers must be very aggressive.
