Thanks Paula for this #ViewerQuestion on how to drag and drop columns using your mouse cursor in Microsoft Excel WITHOUT pasting over your existing data columns. The trick here is to create a dynamic table in Excel. Then you can drag and drop without eliminating any of the data in the table, the column will just move to the middle (just like Google).

🚨UPDATE: without creating a dynamic table, simply hold the SHIFT key as you drag the column over. This will insert the column in between columns without replacing. Voila!

UPDATE: This also works simply by holding down the SHIFT key as you drag the column over - doing this will insert the column inbetween without replacing it. 👍
