I've gone over the L to L drill a lot and will keep going over it because it is really important. The pivot starts at the change of direction. Here's how to train each hand to feel this.

Well I finally got the Malaska move and I am killing the ball now, with no hooks, playing under par and super happy, Thanks Mike.

Been playing for 28 years and this is still a useful drill / warm up. Can never do this enough.

The L to L and tipping the club have helped me improve greatly in the last few weeks back at the golf course. 26 handicap and broke 90 for the first time this weekend. Beginners should watch Mikes videos and practice these drills, some of the best out there!

I love the cerebral approach. Excess shoulder input was (WAS!!!) my problem. Not now. Thanks Mike.

just want to say thanks for sharing your insight from years of playing and teaching...I have been incorporating this and avoiding "pulling the handle" as I have taught by many so called "professionals"

Hi Mike, thanks so much for this important drill. Since I've been making a point to come completely through my swing "L to L", it has helped me greatly to finish my swing and cut down on blocked shots to the right.

Hi Mike. Love your content. One of the best out there! Question: In doing the L to L are you condoning flipping the club head at impact? Looks like open/ closed club head. How do you time this with impact? Thanks

Just wanted to say thanks, Mike. I’ve never been able to get the L on the follow through with my driver but the tip about holding the club in your thumb and forefinger did it for me. Surprisingly it translated back to my regular grip quickly and easily!

Mike, I have been really struggling when I try and take my range game to the course. I seem to lose all ability to put in-place what I have been practicing. Mental yes but not sure how to overcome…

Hey Mike - I was wondering if I could ask a really important question.. after studying your videos/practicing all of the pieces, I have a good understanding of the swing but my problem area is in the take away/top of backswing.

I cant seem to figure out/feel where my hands/arms should be in the top* of the backswing.

I have a tendency of taking it back too far, which causes my right elbow to chicken wing and results in over the top.

I notice in the backswing, my hands dont know wether to roll left, or right, or whocu direction/positiom they should be in. The top of the backswing seems really handsy.

I try to think - left thumb up the tree* but not sure if thats right.. could you help understand what the top of the backswing should feel like?
