Investors put cash offers over the asking price as soon as houses come on the market here in AZ. Families don’t have a chance.

They have increased by 118%? That would mean that a house that cost $100, 000 in 1965, would increase by $118, 000. So it would cost $218, 000 today.

My parents bought their home in 1995 for $50, 000. Today it’s worth 500, 250. It’s value increased by 1, 050%. Value of homes has gone up way more than 118%.

In 1965 minimum wage was $0.90 in Ontario and is now $15.50 that's 1722% increase. No? My grandmother bought her house for $20, 000 and now in her area they're going for which is also 7500% of the original cost. However this is in the GTA and not a fair comparison for homes bc you can definitely buy a home for way less in other places of the province
