🟤 Have you ever looked at your nose close up and seen small white clogs covering your nose? I have had and sometimes it's so bad, my nose can remind me of a strawberry.

🟤 Those white or yellow clogs are actually something called SEBACEOUS FILAMENTS and not blackheads, which is what they are mistaken for a lot of the time. Sebaceous filaments are one of the ~ main characters ~ of my skincare concerns.

🟤 Unfortunately there is no way we can permanently remove sebaceous filaments - they will always come back but there ARE steps that we can take to minimize their appearance.

I have suffered from sebaceous filaments for about 40 years. I finally found a product that actually ended them in ONE SWIPE. It was Stridex Maximum Strength Pads. They are inexpensive and because I only need this on the nose area, I only need to use a quarter of a pad. I just scissored them. I swiped my clean face, and then a few hours I went back to check, and most were gone. In the morning there were none left! I did not add anything, moisturizer, etc. on top of the solution because I did not want to dilute it. Finally, something worked. I hope it works for others because as I said, it was inexpensive and quick! It does contain methol which I know is irritating, but for me, it is worth it in this small area. I finally feel like my face is clean,

Peach Slices makes a WONDERFUL new salicylic acid toner that’s available at CVS for only $11 and is comparable to universally loved Paulas Choice BHA/AHA toner. I started off slow with it because it’s new to me but I can easily ramp it up to daily use. Being a woman of middle age with acne/aging concerns that works in a machine shop with chemical and climate factors that increase my skin sensitivity something this effective at such an affordable price point is exciting!

it sucks having prominent sebaceous filaments but I always like to be cautious before trying to clean anything on my face. Once you scar your face it's game over.

Is this kind of thing okay for dry skin as long as it’s once or twice a week?

Paula's choice says you can use it twice a day. So I've been using it morning and night. Every day.

Honestly I don't notice any change. But I still use it out of habit. I'm definitely going to try the mask and the oil. I have combo skin and I will use the mask the exact same way and in the same area as you did in this vid.

I love The Ordinary products. I'm due to place another order so that 2% salicylic mask is going on there. Anyway, I'm glad I found this vid. Liked and subbed.
