Rapture: The Final Four?

Are there prophecies in the Bible that give us reason to believe the rapture might be soon? Is it possible to determine a window of time for the rapture? Could these next four years be "the final four"? Pete Garcia and I are going to "think out loud" on these questions and look to scripture for guidance.

About 5 years ago, after my late husband and I had completed a study of the Book of Revelation, I believe the Holy Spirit whispered in my spirit to "be a watchman". I shared that with my husband and he agreed we would take up the charge as we went forward. In the months that followed, we began to sense the resistance in the church we were attending at the time. We became an oddity and began more and more to sense push back. Although my husband is now with the Lord, I still feel compelled to continue the charge of being a watchman. As a widow, I know I am cared for and beloved by our Precious Lord & Savior. He leads me day by day!

If more Christians were aware of how close we are to Christ’s return, they’d get serious about their faith. I was so lukewarm until the Lord guided me to teachings like this about a year ago.

I’m waiting, watching, praying, longing, for his soon return. I listen everyday to the ones that are preaching and teaching his soon return. I can feel it in my soul! Come quickly Lord Jesus!

This broadcast is both a blessing as well as making me sad. I'm 73, still work 5 days a week getting bibles into hands through my ministry, Bibles at Cost, (countless millions at this point), and I'm so looking for the Lord's return to bring us home, daily, and the thought of possibly another 3 to 4 years before that may happen is killing me. I honestly don't know if I can hang on that long. I'm up at 4 AM getting into the office getting orders out in order to watch my year old granddaughter as well as working. I really could use some prayer that our Lord will give me the strength and endurance to continue until His return.

Many years ago I listened to Chuck Missler and he always said no one can name the day or hour but he did say he can't see it going past 2033 for the second coming, because of the very reasons you are pointing out. It was around 2003 when I heard that and seemed a very long time away. Now it's become very obvious we're in that "season"

Very encouraging! Thank you! I can’t find a church where we live that speaks of this. It is “taboo”. I can’t speak to my family about it because they think I am ridiculous. I have 3 fallen children I am praying they find the Lord again. However, I am so thankful I have 3 that are saved. I am anxiously awaiting the Lord’s return! I cannot wait to fall at my Saviour’s feet, worshipping Him forevermore.

I am crying so much right now thank you brothers, these are tears of joy. I wake up every morning longing for the coming of our Lord and still patiently waiting while thinking of ways to bring more and more people back to Him starting with my family and friends. Sad to say so many of them are scoffers who either don’t believe, barely believe, or just simply too preoccupied with the affairs of this world. It saddens me brothers. Please tell me how to snatch them from destruction they’re oblivious to. I’m so glad that my 12 year daughter and I are aware and awaiting but I feel I still have a mission before it’s too late for them.

I find it troubling that in our instant gratification culture Christians want to avoid the discussion of the Rapture because somebody will end up "disappointed". I watch and long for my Lord's return every day; every hour of the day! But I pretty much keep it to myself. Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus!

If the 2 days(2000 yrs) ends at 2033 and the tribulation period is within that timeframe, then 2033-7=2026 which would also be the 4 year period you stated. We could be in the last 4 years of earth before the tribulation! I can't wait! I used to love to listen to Jimmy DeYoung's prophecy today who ended each show by saying "Look up, He maybe returning today!" I literally can't wait to meet my Lord and Savior in the air!
