These are your priorities at the start of year eleven if you are wanting to get the top grades in your GCSEs. My students did really well last year so I really know how to get a grade nine in GCSE Physics.

At Gorilla Physics we’re all about you understanding more, so you get more confident, then enjoy Physics more and then you’ll do better in your GCSE and A Level Physics exams.

Buy my book to help you memorise all the equations for GCSE Physics or Combined Science, for AQA, OCR A and B, Edexcel and Eduqas exam boards.

I would advise to start doing little bits of revision as soon as you can. Maybe just 1 page of a revision guide a night, including questions. It will help in the long run, and you can ease in to more intense revision for the mocks and final exams.
Secondly, don't be disheartened if you don't get a good grade in the mocks, or if you're struggling with the content. You do not have to do the exams right now. You have Year 11 to improve your grades, and to get a good grasp of the content.
In addition, don't be worried if your mock grades go down, for example, you get a 7 in the first set of mocks, and a 5 in the second set. As long as you know where you make the errors, and how to correct those errors, you can improve, and do even better in the final exams.
Leading on from that, if your grades have gone down, and you don't know why, or don't know how to improve, ask the teacher. They are there to get you the best results you can.

What are your priorities for year 11? And what's your advice for those just starting their GCSE year?

I started revising 3-4 hours a day since January. I want to get 8s and 9s. However my expected grades are always 4-6. Which is what I scored in my mocks. Is it possible for me to get those grades or not? Thank you

Edit: I crammed all my revision for my mocks.

Hello sir, I just wanted to ask for a student to get three separate GCSEs in science ( Triple, ) do they have to be on the same exams board or can they take each science on a different exam board ?
