When they bought eu cars was tolarable because of german weight and power among us but with electric ones reversing the status quo. So or china really opens up and stop playing the " in development country" or the belt and road will stop on a giant protecionism wall.

Germany first ignored the American warning on enegery dependence on Russia. Now they paid for this.

Second time they ignored the American warning on the business relationship with China. Now again they're paying a heavy fine.

I don't understand when they will learn.

Chinese current export oriented growth model isn't sustainable. They need to move towards self-sufficient consumption based model.

It seems to me that foreign policy is able to support its own expenditure on improving working life and safety in the workplace.

EU is just a pain in the neck saying Trade Imbalance with China!!For any fair trade to exist both must not peg their imports and exports trades in a zero sum game as each country have different requirements and do not offer what each other needs. Simply, can China import rice from EU or rare earth!!! Utter nonsense to ask for balanced trade!

how it can be balanced if EU doesn't produce enough product that China need? and even many EU manufacturer open their factories in China? it will never be balanced.

Just reduce trade with China unless it's balanced two-way trade.
