Same with the Mac Books and Mac Book Pros. This I-Mac will be awesome. I would get the VESA option and mount it to an articulating arm mount that can clamp on my desk. If they don’t offer silver in the top end, I may get a cool peel off cover for the front chin that has a cool look to it. I wish they would come out before this year is over. I really want a larger (30-32 inch) I-Mac and VESA mount it. Found quite a few of those arm mounts that clamp on a table or desk. I think if they put the SD Card slot (and I think it will be like the one in the Previous I-Mac Pro model), and put it on the side above or below the headphone / mic jack. I have a feeling that the Ethernet will be on the power. Connector like the 24 I-Macs, which makes since, because it would be closer to a Ethernet connection on a wall, and it would have more room to have the Ethernet on the Power brick than on the I-Mac. Not everyone will be using Ethernet. Many of us have Wireless connections. I would love to see Silver or Shiny Black as a choice on the higher end as well as Space Gray (for those who want Space Gray).

I am holding off with a new iMac purchase until the "iMac Pro" or whatever they will call it comes out. I'm hearing maybe mid-June 2021? I have a 27" late 2015 now and it's still a good machine.

This will be a big game changer for me if your render of the iMac pro is anything to go by. I still don't like the Barbie iMac pastel colours.

If apple names their 30inch imac as imac pro, they would have a huge gap in imac line up. Current imac 24inch costs about 1300 pounds, last imac pro costed 5000. With mini led display the price would increase even more. So were going from quite cheap to straight up very expensive, which will never happen. My best guess would be 24inch imac, 30 inch imac looking exactly like 24 inch and maybe in the future new imac pro.
