I always saw the iMac Pro as a temporary model to fill a gap caused by what was the aging round Mac Pro. I’m surprised they kept it going for as long as they did.

A new iMac with white bezels? Not for me. I might be wrong or might be a madman but I like them black. I haven’t seen the one with white bezels in person but from the photos I can see that it only blends properly in front of large white walls.

Apple keeping the iMac modest makes perfect sense. Nobody outside of youtubers actually spent $5k+ on an iMac Pro. When you’re spending that kind of $$ on a computer 99% of people are going to go with something different, especially now that there’s a relatively up-to-date Mac Pro.

Apple needs to stop withholding the regular colors: the space grey/black bezels & silver grey/black bezels. I don’t mind them adding new color options and white bezels, but not at the cost of your classic customer base. It’s stupid. I really dislike using white bezels. I was planning on buying an iMac, won’t happen until they get back to their senses and offer regular color combos. I also was thinking about upgrading to the newest MacBook Air, won’t happen if they will only offer white bezels. And I believe I am far from the only one thinking like this.

Eh this speculation assumes that Apple won’t rename the larger iMac the iMac Pro. It will likely be getting M1X or M2X anyway.

I'm only excited about two products, the 16 inch MacBook Pro and the small Apple silicon Mac Pro, I'm just thinking of should I wait till the end of 2022 to get the small Apple Silicon Mac Pro, or should I just get the 16-inch Macbook Pro straight away.

Was that a typo or do you really think it’s going to have 64Gbs of Unified memory? If MacBook Pros will have 32Gbs it wouldn’t make sense if they both have the same M1X chip.
