Great video and tips! Helped me identify more clearly whether my screen protector or the screen was cracked. Mine was a bit hard to tell due to my screen protector edge so close to the phone screen edge. Having a magnifying glass definitely assisted. Thank you!

I remember using my old phone, which is now my brother's, and I had it for three years and still going strong. And whenever I got a crack, I'd tell my dad and he'd ask me if it's the screen or the screen protector. I just assumed that it was the screen protector because I didn't actually know how to tell. The phone that I'm using right now just got a crack recently and I didn't know which was cracked, luckily I found this video. (it's had this crack for two months now and this is the first time I checked).

Thanks for this I thought my screen was cracked for sure but once I looked at the edges of protector realized that just needs to be replaced. I might have saved hundreds because of this. Thanks

Installed a tempered glass screen protector on a brand new iPad and had some cracks on the interior in various places.. thank you for posting this it made me feel a lot better about it. Just gonna leave it on and avoid the hassle

Thanks for the guide. I thought my screen cracked because my mom never told me she put a screen protector on and I thought if my screen suffered a bit more damage it would look bad. Now I know that it was not my screen that broke and the screen is completely fine.

Had a little drop this morning and was trying to figure out is it screen protector or the screen itself. The crack finishes on a edge and the crack itself is so invisible, a naked eye with no flashlight wouldn't see it at all. Your thoughts? I believe it's the protector since it starts on an edge and it's not continuing like you've mentioned and finishes on the other edge. the protector is ''fat'' and goes entire the phone. Thank you !

I got a crack in my iPhone screen and i dont no if it is my screenprotector it does not come to the edges of the real screen but you can see the crack with a white image and you can see it with a reflection of light if I go over it with my nail it doesn't feel like a deep crack but i dont no if it is a crack in my screenprotector or in my screen

Well thank you so much! My phone took a leap of faith today and even though I have insurance I do not want to have to send it out, plus I won’t look stupid walking into the store crying about a screen, now I can say just ring me up a new screen protector 🤣🤘🏽

I have a question that my screen had middle impact means it got damaged on middle, leaving edges normal, what it could be? Because it produces 2 reflection while its placed in certain angle.
I have tempered applied to it

Heya, so I just realized i have minor cracks on my protector it starts on the edge of my protector (about two cracks one small and one quite mid large) then, when I try to view it at an angle I can see the shadow of the crack on the screen underneath. So does that mean the crack didn't penetrate my phone screen? Is the crack just on the protector itself?
