i love mushrooms but my daughter hates them. in your opinion does this variety taste more or less like the typical button mushroom? also, what do you call the thing you hold down your mushroom with in the skillet? i see the cuisinart logo but what is it called please?
back to the taste, i'm trying to get my daughter to expand her pallate and wish I could share mushrooms with her.

Just tried it. Either I didn’t cook it right or I just don’t like it. I think one tip would be to cut the mushrooms so that both sides are flat. That’s been the main thing I’m gathering. I think if it had a good sear on both sides it would taste a lot better. Mine is like a medium rare on the inside haha. The time I cooked it could also be a factor. The sear came on fast with high heat, you may want to use a lower heat so that it can cook more thoroughly. I cooked it like a steak like the guy said and followed the directions besides the herbs. 🤷‍♂️
