I truly thank you for your having taken the time to show this assembly. It is certain to come into play for me as I am restoring a 89 XJS. It runs now, but I enjoy improving efficiencies. What I think I should to is remove the assembly from my parts car and rebuilt it for my driver...

Thank you very much for this excellent video! I think you pointed me to an error in the suspention of my XJ6 (1981) that i just bought recently. It has suspention that pulls the car to one side. After seeing this video i think the 2 legs of the upper control wishbone on my car are possibly switched around...!
It has to be the case because all the bushings are brand new and the brakes are good.

Thank you - just finished rebuilding my 1993 4.0 manual XJS Front Subframe & watched your video several times before starting which was great preparation. I have also finished rebuilding the rear subframe & both now ready to go back in . Great work thanks again

It is a grease like product . From Permatex Copper Anti-Seize it protects metal parts from seizing, galling and rust. Very good product. I myself always use it on any jobs like yours. In the future just 200ft torque to get shock out not the hot wrench to cut it out . Well worth it .

You need longer bolts on the top ball joint. Need to have at least 3 threads showing.

grate work mate..i have a problem with my front upper control arms and can you help me to find the correct orientation..as you mentioned in the video my arms are not the same and they all sitting same height..

Mate do you know how to pack Bearings wiping grease on the outside is Not good enough you need to pack them and you should have put anti seize under the bearing on the spindle . sorry if I sound negative
