Note: The "Low Cut" filter on the DJI Mic 2 was on by default and I didn't catch that until after filming 🤦🏽‍♂ Which is why it doesn't sound as full or rich as the DJI Mic in this video. My bad! The DJI Mic 2 genuinely sounds better then DJI Mic when you compare them with the same settings.

When that deep green light switches to yellow, that's when the smart noise cancellation kicks in, at least that's what I've heard.

Thanks for the review. Upgraded mine to 2 mainly because of the digital hotshoe compatibility with my sony camera. I tried asking a 3D printing guy to make it work for mic 1… but the 32bit float on the mic 2 basically just got me to sell my 1 and get the 2!

32 bit float is a huge selling point. Does it have a line in to use as an external recorder?

I noticed there's no place to put the attachment place holder when the USB-C or Lightning adapters are attached. DJI should include Mobile Phone pre-sets, not just camera.
