How to load your dishwasher the right way

If you're like most people, you just throw your dishes in the dishwasher wherever they may fit. That's the luxury of having a washer in the first place right? But being lazy with your placement of dishes ultimately leads to additional wasted time and water trying to rewash what didn't get cleaned properly. Follow this dish placement advice if you want clean dishes every time.

Business Insider missed all sort of stuff.. Hopeless. I'm not getting Business Insider to load my dishwasher..

1/ Sharp utensils must be pointed down.
2/ Small plates should go on top drawer, larger heavier crockery and pots go on bottom drawer
3/ Group utensils together for fast unloading.
4/ Long knives and cooking spoons should go on top drawer and long ways. Put small plates and glasses over them to ensure they don't bump around insider washer.
5/ If you have an underside top drawer sprayer, then close drawers and then manually spin sprayers to ensure plates do not obstruct circular action of top drawer sprayer
6/ Did you know you can put the exhaust filters from your stove top range hood in a dishwasher ? They catch alot of grease and this is a mess-free way to clean these delicate plastic filters.

Take that! Business Insider... Stick to reporting business, you're not cut out for domestic functions.

You forgot the most important thing which is to scrub before you even load them in there. Dishwashers don't scrub for you .
