I think we can all agree on one thing in the end: We just want a good story. Disney has had a massive problem with handling established characters, and frankly, I don't think I could stomach seeing Obi-Wan being gutted. Just please do a good job, Disney. You have basically one shot to get this right, and after how mixed Book of Boba Fett was, I'm really hoping Kenobi doesn't fall into the same thing, or worse. Just please, Disney, do a good job please.

Even if Reva has SOME sort of spotlight as an antagonist, the way they treat Darth Vader is still full of respect. The way she screams,
“You can’t escape him!” with pure anger and terror in her voice as it shows Vader being assembled is amazing.

at 5:48 when you see those things launch you know they’re probe droids because you can hear the sound they make, and then at 6:04 you can see a broken one in the background. they probably sent them to find any jedi/obi-wan and just like how han and chewy destroy it in empire obi wan destroys it and so they figure on he’s there

What I love is the thought that they did go after Kenobi and did scour that planet, answering that question as to why they never found Luke. This may answer that.

I've always wanted to see a live-action version up the planet mortis story arc. It would be a cool flashback where we would get to see Anakin straying towards the dark side before he actually turns.

This looks very promising! So cool to see Ewan McGregor back as Obi-Wan! Although the inquisitors and their make up do look a little bit off in my humble opinion, I think the implementation of CGI would have been more fitting for those characters. That is very costly of course, but a production of this caliber deserves - and needs - that. I hope the choreography of the fighting scenes will be less clumsy than the book of Boba Fett. I really do think a good team with the authentic Star Wars vision and some modern resources can create fireworks on the screen again. I think a stand alone serie's - mainly focusing on Darth Vader in his dark times hunting Jedi and adjusting to his suit - can be an instant hit if done right. Nonetheless, im glad Deborah Chow is working on this. Looking forward to the 27th!

18:13 Theory I don't know how I can express in words how much you and your whole channel and the community means to me. You brightened up Star Wars for me that makes me not only proud to be a Star Wars fan but also appreciating what you've given to us and essentially making the galaxy far far away easier to digest and understand for new and veteran fans alike. The first ever fan fic I remember watching from you is What if Obi-Wan brought Anakin back to the light and that What if has remained in my mind and it will for the foreseeable future.

I lost a friend or son rather recently and you and your content has been one of the many things to keep me going. Now I'm left to pick up the millions of pieces that my heart shattered into. (Kind of like Vader's in a way). I just want to also say thank you for the years of amazing Star Wars content and fan fic's you produce and give your opinions on. Until the end of time and the foreseeable future you will always have my love and support ❤

I know it’s extremely early as this hasn’t even dropped yet, but I’m curious to see if anyone thinks we’ll see Ewan and Hayden make another series or film in the future that focuses specifically on their time during the clone wars. So many storylines and epic battles/operations that went down in that period.

don't you miss the days where you look at a trailer of star wars and get excited without an ounce of doubt that it will be good. because you just know it is in good hands. but now I have the same sinking feeling as I have any star wars thing the last decade. I hope this is good.

Just hearing the same activation sound of Vader’s suit turning on with Vader’s breath right after gave me flashbacks and chills of ROTS with Anakin’s first true breath as Vader

Really like what we’ve seen here . Much better than the first trailer . I imagine he’d be hanging in the bacta tank and meditating then a imperial officer comes in and says „we have a trail on the Jedi obi wan Kenobi“ then we see Vader completely getting assembled with Hayden’s face being in rage and the helmet slowly descending onto his head and covering his face . Credits roll
