I have been so excited for this series ever since it was announced. I really hope this delivers and doesn't disappoint. Also I love how the "Hope Survives" line ties into the end of Revenge of the Sith when Padme says "Liberty Dies"

All those guys in black suits with red parts are inquisitors their job is to kill all the surviving jedi they were once jedis or padawans but the empire captured and tortured them into joining the dark side so far they have appeared in revels, fallen order and the vader comics.

That white-skinned guy with the double-bladed spinning lightsaber is called the Grand Inquisitor, and he leads the Inquisitors, who are dark side agents tasked with hunting down Jedi survivors of Order 66 and have appeared in "Rebels", the "Darth Vader: Dark Lord of the Sith" comic book series, and "Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order". Also, hearing “Battle of the Heroes”, “Duel of the Fates”, and “Anakin’s Dark Deeds” throughout this teaser has already got me hyped for this Disney Plus series.

Purge troopers and Inquisitors(the black armored troopers are purge troopers, the force users are inquisitors), were trained to hunt down the remaining Jedi in this era.

So much of Star Wars now is based from worlds and characters that were brought to us in Rebels. It’s definitely worth watching since the mandalorian and Ahsoka seem to be heavily drawing from it.

Ah, spinny lightsaber dude is the grand inquisitor. He's fleshed out in the show Rebels. Also can see the inquisitors under him in the games Jedi Fallen Order. I'm HYPED.

This is the show I was most excited for since they announced it and it already looks amazing! I just love the fact that in all of these new Disney+ shows, they are using more and more content and characters from the animated shows. At this point they have introduced so many characters to live action from the animated shows that it's basically essential to watch them now to get the full experience. I also love that in Mando and Book of Boba Fett they mostly introduced characters from the Clone Wars and now in this series they are starting to introduce characters from Rebels, like the inquisitors. It's great becasue this takes place 5 years before Rebels so they can't kill off any characters from that show as they are alive and well 5 years later, so we don't have to worry about the Grand Inquisitor becuase he won't get a Cad Bane treatment. (Meaning they won't kill him off, which is great because he is awesome.)

Also I love how you guys talked about the importance of hope and how it connects to Luke and basically the Jedi in SW. But also I think it is a obvious nod to Leia's message in Ep4 "Help me Obi Wan Kenobi! You are my only hope." And then in the trailer they show Kenobi. :) I think it was a great reference.

HYPED FOR KENOBI, also the guy with the spinning lightsaber is the grand inquisitor he servers directly under Vader. Under the grand inquisitor is the sisters and brothers of the dark side. (Ex: 9th brother and 2nd Sister although don’t think there in the show) The inquisitorius we’re introduced to cannon in Star Wars: Rebels

if you want to know what happen during the empire era, watch Star wars rebel (TV show on disney+ now), Solo(said to tie directed to this film) and Rogue one before watching obi-wan kenobi!

I recommend watching Star Wars Rebels before May 25 that way when the Obi Wan Kenobi series comes out it's going to make a lot more sense.
