Lycopene is also really good for our gums.
I make my own tomato juice w/ organic tomato paste, water, herbs & spices whirred in the blender. Delicious!

I just want to thank you so much. I have to say, listening to your discussions these last few weeks, it has helped me to improve my health. Especially the discussion on sulforaphanes, wow what I was missing. I’m on a deep dive with the cruciforous vegetables 🥗. I won’t do supplements for that because I’m dieting these last 6 months (weight watchers) and these vegetables help to fill me up with minimal calories. I did my aerobic exercises this morning (60 minutes Rebounding) and I had so much more stamina. This is the way to live healthy and revive yourself at 64.

Is there an organic loose leaf green or white tea that’s affordable out there? I used to buy and prefer loose leaf.
As well as source or route for filtering water in order to stop using bottled water? I live in an apartment, so more than likely, couldn’t hook up the system there.

I'm a alien then (not trying to be smart alleck by saying that).
I have trouble losing weight, always have (I'm 54 now).
I've always been big water drinker. I drink mostly water and tea (herbal, not sweet).
I fidget a lot, my foot twitches often, I'm a crafter so knit n crochet often.
I have been doing intermittent fasting for over a yr where I eat from 10 to 6 usually.
I try to keep calories between 1200 and 1500 daily.
W/ mobility issues, I try to find ways to excercise Ike I have 10 lb kettle bell that I try to lift every other day to exhaustion (and vary movements to work muscles overall directions). I do this to try to work bat wings .
For legs, I sit in chair and do movements where I lift feet off floor and move forward n back, alternate w/ separating them to sides.
It's suppose to work saddlebags on legs and I feel it in thighs.
Now, health issues. I've been diagnosed w/ high blood pressure and congestive heart failure.
That has led to stage 3 kidney failure. W/that I have had an ulcer on leg that had dr treat for a yr, mostly healed however had to have corrective surgery to fully close it.
Back when covid 1st came out, before in news even, I think I had it. But not heard if it at time and just thought was a type flu and never got diagnosed for it.
I see my gp, an osteo dr for knees, and neurothrist for kidneys.
If I take Lasix daily my kidneys get too dry sodr n I discussed and I check for pitting edema in legs to judge when to take Lasix,
I was getting steroid shots every 3onths for knees. Recently was switched to eufloxi (spelling?) Every 6 months shots (only had 1 so far, not seen much difference yet but keep trying and pushing).
And, at 1 point went to hospital cause could stand up and they diagnosed me w/ pseudo gout and, since I have kidney failure, prescribed to take 4 tylenols several times a day for it.
I've started taking collagen to try to help knees some(and iny mind should also help some w/ vessels to work better as well but I'm not a dr).
Now, all negative said that I can think of, bit positive, on 3 separate occasions, neurologist said I've improved
Y numbers by 30 points.
Not sure I improved my numbers once and mentioned it 3 times or if I've improved numbers on 3 separate occassions . I've been happy just to focus on fact I have improvements.
Small victories are still victories.
I've been on path since 2005 (when diagnosed w/ heart failure, BP was 210/120 at time) a d rest has flowed
Got on disability in 2018 from it all.
OH! In 2015, my mom died and led to depression diagnosis which they kept asking if I was suicidal and I told them I was WAY more homicidal but wanting to kill others didn't bother them. Go figuire.
So I mostly keep self reclusive to avoid humans to avoid impulse. Not a town w/ highly trained drs to be proud of
