I lived in the United Arab Emirates for 25 years and although I have an Arabic wife I'm not sure if it was worthwhile

I moved from Philadelphia to the Domician Republic 11 years ago, the beaches are great and theres a lot of places to see. However there are some social issues, Id rather not get involved with, but indirectly I am. Im looking to move back to Philadelphia within the next year and half. Wish me luck.

Its really strange to me, that people who move to any country didnt seemingly do any research before moving there. Complaining about it afterwards is crazy to me. Im from the UK and the weather here is famously unpredictable. Just dont come here if you dont like rain or cold

This is a really insightful video! It’s easy to get caught up in the excitement of moving abroad without considering the challenges. Definitely made me think twice about the big decision. Have you found any ways to overcome these common regrets?

I lived in Mexico about 10 years. I feel like everyone must get past the honeymoon stage of the place. Then things get real. Where things perfect... No. Would I move back there? Yes. And I do plan to.

Ive lived in 14 countries. They all have their pluses and minuses. If you go to another country not willing to take tradeoffs, youll never be happy. Basically every country Ive lived in was better than the US in some ways and worse in others. If you maximize the pluses and minimize the minuses, youll always have a great experience.
