The discovery of those plantes has been first announced by a Belgium observatory situated in Morocco (Moroccan and Belgium astrophysicists ) and not by the Spectro-space telescope as mentioned in the news...

Mars is approx. 12.5 light MINUTES away. It would take around 6 months to reach Mars with a manned aircraft. These planets are 40 light YEARS away. It would take around 800, 000 years to reach these places by a manned aircraft....

So close to us? They're light years away! It's great we found them so we can learn, but we're not going anywhere for a while. Even if we travel at the speed of light I read it will still take us 40 years to get there.
