The Australians are killing off the Dingos, the same way they did with the thylacines. And yet they wonder why they have a plague of rabbits and rats. Smart peopleโ€ฆ

Unglaublich!
Dingos sind brandgefรคhrlich.

Sie sind nicht zum Essen da !
Mir gehen die Worte aus !
Sehr gutes Video .๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘โค

I had a Dingo cross dog for many years! He would jump the five foot high gate most night's, balance for a few seconds on the top and off he'd go out looking for bitches! Then before the sun would come up we'd hear him come back in the same way he'd gone out! He had so much energy that I'd walk him by letting him run alongside the car to try to wear him out so he wouldn't go out at night, sometimes when I was younger we'd go out riding out bicycles with a few mates and their dogs, we'd sometimes have to stop for mates dogs but my little Black Dog never slowed down or got tired!

A number of fragments show the Asian wild dog (dhole) instead of the dingo.
It is also interesting to know that in Asian countries and regions each have their own types of native village dogs (which you also see a lot on the Asian meat markets, where dog meat is also sold), which are often of the spitz types, and sometimes show some strong similarities with the dingo.
The Korean village dog (and Korean jindo crosses) is an example of this.

While not a biologist my understanding of dingos origin is Asian wolves that were domesticated, moved to Australia, then became feral. Not certain but it does make sense.

Two debates on how they came to Australia. First and mostly now disproven is introduction by sea. Second is now the believed migration south while Australia and New Guinea were the one land Sahul. Fossil evidence now suggests arrival from 18-25, 000 years ago.
