As a person learning 2 south East Asian languages I can confirm pronunciation is everything 😅

There’s actually really simple meaning to this. The things on top of the words look like pictures. If you know the pictures meanings and what they are and how to pronounce them in Vietnamese then you can pronounce words with markings. My mom told me that.
