Love the lessons from tv and cinema, what a great way to get your points across 👍.
I usually watch everything at double speed but I was so interested I didn't this time (plus you have a really engaging speaking pace - not too fast or slow).

I love ❤your presentations. Keep it up. I guess the Friends scene/season slides took a long time to do.

Why do we put everything in one slide (the title, the graph, the takeaway etc.) and why not put each in a different slide. This way we can literally direct the viewer however we want providing less distractions as the viewer will be focused on only what the new thing is. Wouldn't a stacked approach be better; The title, The title and the sub points, The title sub points and and so on ?
Is it not done because it leads to too many slides and on the off chance it might make the viewer feel like you're coddling them ?

"MOUNT MORDOR?" How dare you, sir. 😜 In all seriousness, this is a great video. I have a hard time making my data stories interesting and engaging, but this video gives a ton a great ideas that I think will help me a ton. Brilliant to use methods in movies!

I found this presentation bad.
First of all - How does knowing where they are in the story helps audience to understand why the story matters? I am on the 129 page of the story. I dont see how this information can help me to understand the reasons story began and continues to the page 240.
Second - how the emotional reasons of a character of a movie story connect to the emotions about our sales go down? I cant see any connection here. If we know why it is matters that the sales slow down and fail how does it helps us to solve the problem? I feel terrible and fear of losing income source. Ok. How does it help me to solve the problem? No any clues. This seems to be stupid now.
I can agree that i need support and reasoning arguments to make myself feel not irrational or not to look stupid. I can agree that pyramid structure helps to establish how much slides it will be and to control the narrative. I can agree with a conflict. But - this video is too vague and raw. It is bad. Not structured. I guess it is just a fashioned attempt to get more views from social media because everyone speeks about stories. You should learn more about stories. The story IS CHARACTER in CONFLICT with someone/something. The more derivative and COOL the conflict is the better. Boys fighting with sticks vs knights fighting with light sabers. The story structure doesnt matter anything. It IS CONSEQUENCE of what happens.
Next layer of your video - you talking about too broad contexts and those contexts are only for those who care about company. Owners and directors board i guess. But where 2 layers at least where the problem can be solved. And what i see here is a lack of knowledge and just generic bla bla bla about stories and presentations. Dissapointment.
