I love how in Undertale the different phases were Flowey using the souls that represent each of the humans power traits. While in Undertale Yellow it represents all of Flowey’s different traits of how he wants you dead distorting and transforming in each phase hoping he will never get bored killing you.

The fact that they implemented every boss monster that you killed, even Ceroba from the genocide route, into a twisted malformed version of them and their attacks is the coolest shit I’ve ever seen. 1 year spent on this whole boss was worth everything.

Mechanical: Emotionless killing machine
Paper: His inner childs playful arts n' crafts
Clay: He was "molded" into what he is like clay can be
Patchwork: like how he was put back together
Organ: his strange anatomy
Polygonal: his confusing "shape shifting reality.
Also all of these are re-do's of floweys face

Something I love about Best Friends Forever is that almost all of the lead instruments sound like they're mimicking screaming or crying, since some of them are extremely shrill and harsh-sounding while others will just drop off in pitch after a bit, almost like a human voice breaking from sadness.

This game teaches you that in such world where your soul doesn't have enough capability to even save themselves alone, you are pretty much doomed.

Either to become stronger though blood, or to die, one way, or another.

I'm sure you've probably heard of the theory that the difference specimen tracks are related to the previous failed experiments with injecting objects with determination, so assuming this theory is true, these would be (I assume) the objects each specimen correlates to.

Patchwork: Could be an article of clothing, a plush toy, or some other sewn together fabric article. Personally I think Alphys injected DT into one of her plushies of Mew Mew to see what would happen.

Organic: Monsters aren't made of blood or organs so the only thing that would make sense is the specimen being the corpse of one of the fallen humans, which I guess makes sense from an experimental perspective. If you inject this thing that used to have DT with DT, what will happen?

Paper: I mean, the only thing that would make sense is some sort of origami or similar paper craft item being injected with or more likely soaked in determination.

Clay: Same thing here, Alphys either injected some clay figure or something similar with DT. Moving on.

Mechanical: Given how Flowey is a gun in this phase, perhaps Alphys injected some determination into a firearm to see what would happen. It's not like she couldn't get her hands on one, the technology of gunpowder clearly exists in this world from the gun store in The Wild East.

Polygonal: I'd imagine she probably injected a computer or some other digital item with DT in order for this to exist, she has plenty of computers she could test it on.
