Why is my Fiddle Leaf Fig dying.

Bringing home a beautiful Fiddle Leaf Fig only to have it begin dying shorting after can be frustrating. It can be disheartening and even worse difficult to figure out why it's dying.

In this video, I've outlined the 3 steps that I use in determining why a Fiddle Leaf Fig might look like it's dying. I've a lot of success with my Fiddles and I hope that it helps you too.

Hey, the top leaves of my ficus are brown and dry... The main "vein" of the leaves is brown. Should i cut the top off? Or Will i kill it? 😩

My fiddle leaves suddenly falling mostly all of them, is that because the weather is too hot or need water. The leaves just look so dry and falling off the branches. I have 2 trees and only 1 has falling leaves. 🥺🥺🥺

I had 2 fiddle figs, both died.. i thought i was doing everything with the second fig but not. I even use a moisture meter to make sure I don’t over water. I have it on an east facing window and it gets plenty of indirect light. Could it be the humidity levels were to low? The leafs dropped one after the other and the stems were brown.

If my plant looks like yours where the bottom leaves are off but the top leaves are still there, should I start watering it right away like you did or do I need to lead up to it??

Thank you so much. I live in Mumbai ..this plant is not a native to this place ...the temperature are 36 degree Celcius here. I have tried everything...this just doesn't survive. Will get a new one a trt
