A lot of people are scared of going into typing in a text editor, so I decided to create a tutorial on how to use Godot's Visual Scripting to create a clicker game.

Sorry for the audio quality, I'm still perfecting my craft!

Godot version used: 3.1 Stable.

Thank you very much for making this series! I'm thinking about using godot for some projects I've had in mind and watching this is very useful to help my brain grasp its capabilities. I keep getting distracted thinking about count von count from the muppets whenever you talk about the variables though, but that's entirely my own problem.

You can simplify the part where you disable the button, just assign the result of the condition to the property of the button. It's the opposite of the Greater than, though.

i have all variables exported and use the add and subtract nodes from there.
that makes the whoole thing smaller.
i have only one add and one substract node behind the compare.
I also lined up all label updaters behind the process-node.
so i actually have only variable-calculations behind the button pressers.

I made a big mistake at the start and had to redo essentially the whole thing, which I did on my own. It's pretty simple, though visual scripting gets visually convoluted fast. But this is already giving me some cool ideas.

I have a request - please label in the title and the image what number this is in a series. so like this would be "Visual Scripting (part 2), refactoring, timer nodes, and upgrades! because when I see it in a tweet, or on reddit it's hard to know if this is something I've already seen or a new part of a series.
