Secret Service Sniper Drops Would-Be Assassin

A shooter fired multiple shots at former president Donald Trump in an assassination attempt at a rally in Pennsylvania.

One of the bullets struck Trump in the ear causing him to quickly take cover behind the podium. Within 3 seconds the first line of secret service defense jumped into the line of fire, creating a shield around him with their bodies.

At 6:15 pm on July 13th 2024 Six minutes into his speech shots rang out causing Trump to grab his right ear after being struck by a bullet. He then quickly took cover behind the podium. Within 3 seconds the first line of defense, the Secret Service Presidential Protective Division, instantly swarmed, creating a shield around him with their bodies moving directly into the line of fire.

2 different people went to law enforcement and said they saw a man climbing a building with a rifle. The one guy said he walked back a second time to tell law enforcement since they did nothing. There was a crowd of people pointing and looking at the shooter. This is unacceptable.

Thing is, it's not like he was a well concealed sniper. The dude was out in the open on one of the few elevated platforms overlooking the rally. So visible in fact that several crowd members notified police of his presence four minutes before he opened fire. How did they not see him?

Pretty much everyone ive talked to about it has said "how did the shooter make it on the roof in the first place?". Its pretty hard not to ask that question.

I was working at a restaurant in CA where former President Bill Clinton came for dinner with his family for his nephew high school graduation
Secret service came in a week early to check out the restaurant, make background checks on everyone working. The morning of the event they stage weapons and medical kits with his blood type under the tables around the restaurant, and at 6:00PM when everyone arrived for dinner, 9 SUV’s full of secret service agents accompanied President Clinton.
It was a MASIVE display of security, coordination and preparedness just for dinner with friends and family, something that I don’t see in the preparations for this political rally. To have an armed individual 100 meters from the stage with a clear view and nobody seems to take responsibility it’s crazy to me.

Security failed. Bystanders reported to security officers that a man with a rifle was on the roof. Security was aware of it for several minutes.

i dont get it...shooter was PID'd, and it really seems SS had him dead to rights prior to the shots starting. how in the fuck did the SS miss an open unsecured roof within 300 yds? massive failure tactically here.

I worked security for Bush Sr. at an event in 1989. My job was to sit in a vehicle in a vineyard TEN MILES AWAY with a pair of binoculars and a radio.
European summits and WEF gatherings typically clear airspace for 200 miles. A man climbing a roof only 200 yds away with a rifle wasn't fired on until 42 seconds after snipers spotted him and after he fired multiple shots? Hmm...

People were trying to tell the cops and agents for a couple minutes that a guy was on that roof with a rifle. They were ignored by law enforcement.
