I’m 3 weeks into selling cars at a dealership in a small town. We don’t get a lot of foot traffic so in my downtime I’ve been watching your videos a lot! It’s crazy because I say exactly what you say and it fricken works every time!!!! Within the past 3 days I’ve sold a $60, 000 dollar 2022 wrangler high tide edition right off the showroom floor. Andy! I'm 6 months brand new to car sales. I used the title and sold lane trial closes today. Super smooth. Mrs. Customer started asking about other vehicles EVEN AFTER getting the deal right! But I told myself- NO ORDER TAKING! Closed the deal. Thanks, Coach!

Here’s my go to.. on the way back to the dealership from a test drive I say “alright guys this road will take us right back to the dealership, I wanna ask you… what did you think, how’d you like the car?” If they say they like it it drives smooth etc etc .. I say

“Perfect, when we pull in do you want to park it back in inventory, or do you wanna pull it in the sold lane while we work numbers on it?” If they say pull it in sold lane.. I know I have a buyer. Then I end it on “great! Can you see yourself driving it home today if I can make all the numbers work for you?”

I have AWESOME success with it

Another powerful video Andy. How would you handle those "I know the game, I have sold cars before" types that in reality only have 6 months of car sales experience in a tactful and respectful way?

And when you have an assitant-manager making a lazy T.O. by sitting in his office and ask you to come see him in his office and do the back and forth three or four time during the close... You have a garanty that the customer will ask you for your card and leave to think about it because that gimic will kill all your closing punchlines.

Have you ever had to do business with an industry pro?

I work in a motorcycle dealership and usually have a lot of crossover from the auto industry, and they fight to the death over our $1195 “freight and prep” dealer fee. It’s very hard to hold margin…or is it? 🤔
