I was always taught people buy from people. as a sales exe, 20 years here in the UK, you need to mirror them, but you have less than a minute to do it, its a skill but it does come naturally, you know, who you can joke with, you know where you have to be very serious, but you know what, it works, every time.

“People dont care how much you know till you know how much you care” so true brother on my second week. Sold my first truck first week. This gentleman came in today looking for an upgrade - im still shadowing other salesman and today he had a concern with his navigation system - no one teaching me would pay mind to it but once i took the initiative to search how i can fix the problem in his current vehicle his mood completely changed, shook my hand and said “youre going ti be a success” and i have him booked in next wed to look at the trim level he is after. I have to say I really learned the importance of this step today.

Really like what you said at 27:36 Andy! I work as a salesman on the south side of sa tx and have had to turn down quiet a few ppl because of bad credit. I can't do much but ask them for a Co signer and give them my card, but you said that perfectly and ill be using that work track from now on. It'll really show ppl I'm willing to help. I'm a genuinely nice person and it sucks turning away ppl who really need the help but it's part of the job.
