Honestly, try this NOW. Get up, go to your PS4 and just give this a shot. You could be surprised at how much better your PS4 runs afterwards. Hope it helps :D Let me know any issues etc.

I have just done it for the first time, original ps4 and it took 2 minutes. I disconnected the external HD which is only about 3 months old though. It got rid of my folder. But its loading things so much faster, cheers subbed

would you recon the black home screen could actually increase fps, example, in warzone? I dont mind the laggy menu, because I like my moving home screen. I get around 45-55 fps most of the time in warzone. you can tell it is laggy, but my friend next to me has xbox one, and hell, that thing lags unreal.
