Many important equivalence relations arise from group theory since we are often only interested in objects up to some sort of symmetry. The resulting equivalence classes are called group orbits. In this video, we introduce this notion and explain how group orbits naturally arise in many mathematical questions.

how many painted cubes are there (each face a single colour).. makes no sense to me. is one not the answer? one cube with each face painted a single colour...or maybe just tired tonight!
