I'd like to see better 8-bit graphics of the Chomp Chomp. At the moment it's just a x2 scaled sprite which doesn't fit with the other smaller sprites at all.

I think that Mario Maker should let us make our own levels for other 2D Nintendo games. Remember at E3 when one of the developers hinted that the game may not be limited to just Mario? I think their attitude is "If you want a Metroid game you better bloody well make it yourself!"

Oh wow, there are a lot of things I want more in Mario Maker... Ok, let's start.
1. Create a full world. Like, a map like in the main 2D games (From the 3rd game).
2. More options of games to play. Like, add an editor to 3D games. Or even some of the small, but popular spin offs (I don't know if that's how to spell that).
3. Make a full game (Only for the 2D games, this will take too much time for the other games). Full worlds (Mostly 6-8), with any map you can, with any theme you want.
4. More like the original Mario games. I have never seen Koopa Troopa from the Bullet Bill launcher...
5. That people will be able to rate how good, and difficulty, the level was.
6. Featured levels that Nintendo will look at if they will get enough high scores from the players.

What I would like to see in the final version of Mario Maker could be that your Mario amiibo could give you a New Super Mario Bros WII version that can be added or if it were to be a Yoshi amiibo, it will give you Yoshi's Island from the SNES and give you every level background of your selected game and it can show you the various levels of what you would like to play in. Also you can choose any song from every 2D Mario Platformer and also you can create your own boss but it has to be linked to a robot or at least a koopaling.

Mario Maker is already perfect for me, but hopefully they'll add the other bosses from the 2D games. Also hoping for more "complex" levels, as in multiple areas via doors/pipes. I want to make a highly confusing Boo House, with Bowser instead of Boos that throws Hammer Bros or something. (I'm evil, I know)

The ability to link your stages together to make a world or even have multiple worlds and make your own campaign would be a great feature as you would have almost limitless Mario games with how creative the community will be.

I would like to see 2 features in the game. 1 - an over-world of all the levels you have created in the era of Mario you are playing/creating. For example, Super Mario over-world on SNES.
And 2. Multiple characters to play as.
That would be pretty sweet.

I'd like to see all of the power ups available in Mario maker. The leaf, the feather, the mega mushroom, the penguin suit, the acorn, etc.

May be unlikely, though I would love to see them have it so that you could use items that kind of disappeared in the game history, though be in Mario Maker as it is a game largely focusing on user choice.

It would also be nice to see some option for physics, such as being able to increase gravity in one area with certain backgrounds, or even flip it all together. Or perhaps be able to make slowdown time longer or shorter from when you stop running.

Finally, I hope that you can choose from a wide variety of themes for the ground and background, and be able to put certain bosses from the series in. That would be nice. I hope that there are many objects, because basic objects limits creativity in levels that could use, say, driving spikes (those weird twisty things that stab you in certain water levels. Don't know what they are called.)

Shy Guy enemies, Yoshi appearance and ability to play as Toad. Dont think we've seen any of those yet (I haven't at the very least) and personally think they'd make nice additions

We really need a world map creator in Mario Maker, it can easily work because all 4 currently revealed themes have had a world map in them.
We also need to be able to create a title screen and cutscenes like how the NSMB games done it. They need to go full scale with Mario Maker so that we can create full fledged games. One more thing: We need every power up in existence.

I'd like to see mario maker on the 3ds as well; the 3ds version could have handheld designs (gameboy, GBA Templates) as the wiiu version has home console designs (NES)

I would like them to add an option to make your own custom music for the levels, like the music maker in Mario paint but expanded upon.

Id like to see a time trials where you have to make a stage out of a picture of a stage given to you in a certain time period that has different difficultys from easy to hard
