Wave Energy Devices

This set of animations shows eight basic approaches to harnessing energy from waves. (right click the play button and select "loop" to let the video repeat) Prototype and larger scale devices of each type have been built, tested and deployed and despite those trials wave energy experts still can't point to a single approach most likely to "win out" over the others.
