"How ya doing, champ?"

Rock is always so respectful. He knows in his heart of hearts that Dixon isn't the champ he, or even Apollo, were but, nevertheless, he is the champ and Rock will treat him as such.

This movie made me realize that the good guy doesn’t always have to win to win.

I sat ringside for 2 Tarver fights in Fort Lauderdale, FL. He was awesome and I was super impressed with his performance both times. Both times were a KO.

When he fades to talking to Mickey at the gym in a flashback- best acting from any movie star ever.

Can't help but imagine the utter beating Dixon would've gotten from Clubber Lang if they ever fought

Rocky 1: Mason could win
Rocky 2: Could be close, Rocky could take a lot of punches tho
Rocky 3: After Apollo’s training Rocky wins comfortably
Rocky 4: Dixon gets destroyed in 1 round
Rocky 5: recently retired Rocky a bit rusty but still can hold his own

I have to admit this might be my favorite Rocky movie. Simply because the build up was phenomenal, the dramatic scenes where Sly delivered some of the greatest and most inspiring moments of the entire franchise made me love it. It was more about family, unity and not letting what other think about you. Stop you from chasing your dreams. Because even if you fail, at least you tried! Some of my greatest failures. Have ended up being my absolute GREATEST triumphs. Because of the life lessons I learned, the growth and the humility that came from those failures. Which catapulted me to new heights I never thought would be possible! Whenever I need a motivational pick me up. This and the movie “ miracle “ are the movies I watch!
